Tuesday, January 16, 2007 Cisco sues Apple
Cisco accused Apple in a suit filed in United States District Court for the Northern District of California of willingly infringing its trademark when it announced the new iPhone at the Macworld Expo in San Francisco on Tuesday. Apple tried to get the rights to the iPhone name several times before but failed. Cisco and Apple are set to make a deal on a way they can both use the iPhone name. If Cisco goes to court with Apple, Apple is confident they will prevail. There are already several companies using the iPhone name, and Apple is the only one who is using it for a cell phone. Apple applied to use the trademark in the U.S. on September 26, 2006 using a Wilmington, Del.-based front company called Ocean Telecom Services.

Thursday, January 11, 2007 Apple iPhone Information
Apple's iPhone is a revolutionary mobile phone. Apple has integrated the iPhone so it automatically syncs all of your contacts from a PC, Mac, or Internet service. iPhone has a simple designed touch screen in which your contacts are just a push away. This makes your conference calls easy and fast to merge together.
An industry first, Apple has designed a Visual Voicemail. iPhone's voicemail allows you to quickly select which message is most important to you. iPhone also is featured with a 2-megapixel camera that you can sync photos to your PC or Mac.
Although this is a stunning mobile phone with state of the art features, it is also much more. Apple is way ahead of the competition on this one. This device is running Apple's Mac OS X operating system, and features a 4GB or 8GB storage. So basically you are getting a multitasking phone ranging features from a phone, to internet, camera, and mp3 player. However, with a price of $499 for just the 4GB version and a required two-year contract with Cingular, just how will the iPhone be able to compete.
